I contacted Qazi builders after a number of builders refused to complete building works at my parents property, after the initial builder abandoned the project leaving it in a poor state. My elderly parents had no kitchen, no hot water, and no heating for a whole year, as lots of builders came by but refused to take on the project which was part of a disabilities facilities grant as it was not financially viable for them. A builder was finally arranged, but after keeping us waiting for 2 months ended up cancelling on the day he was due to start. I then contacted Qazi builders on a whim, as their website stated they took on DFG work and explained my dilemma to them. They attended immediately in the same evening and within 2 days had issued a quote for the works which we accepted, as quite amazingly they had offered to start the project within 2 weeks so that my vulnerable parents would have a kitchen and heating before the autum weather kicked in. Qazi builders were true to their word and as promised turned up on 22/08/2022 to start the work, which included taking off the roof and rebuilding it as part of a kitchen extension. They also installed a wetroom, completed the drainage, plumbing, wiring, fitted the kitchen and did the landscaping as part of the construction work. They attended regularly, and were also flexible in their hours as there were some delays with the kitchen units and cooker hob arriving later then expected. However, Qazi builders were fabulous in keeping to the timescale promised to complete the project and on some days worked well into the evening till around 10.30pm, as well as on weekends. Qazi builders were professional, committed and provided a quality service. They were courteous, respectful and stayed true to their word as they promised to complete the project by the end of September 2022, which they did. I found Qazi builders to be genuinely nice, reliable, decent people with good morals, principles and values, as they were the only builders willing to take on this project to ensure my elderly parents had the facilities they needed to improve their quality of life. They even did the work over £10k cheaper then what other builders had quoted, and did an amazing job. I have since recommended them to a number of friends and intend to use them again on an extension to my own property in the coming months.
If your looking for a quote, look elsewhere. Absolutely waste of time. Not responsive what so ever despite chasing on numerous occasions. They just waste your time and then block you. Not professional in my opinion time wasters, the name of the business says it all. Do not recommend.
Qazi Builders have been fantastic to deal with from the initial consultation to the finished product. We used their services for a kitchen conversion including building and structural work. They are professional in what they do; completed the work given timeframe and to an excellent standard. Great communication by them throughout the whole project; they are independent in terms of sourcing goods/materials etc giving client a peace of mind, and they go the extra mile to resolve any issues. A great team of builders, highly recommend them.
