BohoChic was recommended to us by our wedding planner. When we saw her posts on social media we could see that her natural, candid style of photography was the style we really wanted. Catherine instilled confidence from the first point of contact. Catherine has a wealth of experience and she was able to share important advice and points to think about from the start of our journey. We had a destination wedding in Italy in June, the weather was gorgeous, we valued Catherine’s top tips for a wedding abroad in preparation. We had to move the date of our wedding due to Covid, Catherine was supportive through this process and luckily, she was available for our new date the following year. Catherine was easy to contact, always with a friendly, prompt responses. Catherine photographed us and our guests the night before the wedding (An additional request/booking) and the entire day/evening. She made us feel so comfortable, which is a skill as it is not always that way when having your picture taken. As the bride, she made me feel comfortable as soon as she arrived, she shot those moments of us getting ready beautifully and had some useful wedding dress/make up advice too! As she made us feel at ease, our pictures appear so natural. Catherine has managed to capture the day so naturally without our guests even noticing. Our favourite thing about Catherine was her dancing! It was great to see her on the dancefloor with the guests, the dancing photos are amazing and I think this is down to her getting fully involved! Catherine has artfully recorded many small details that might have been missed in all the excitement. The lace on my dress, the buildings, the glitter bar, the flowers, the view of the beach from our evening venue. Catherine had some time to really capture the scenery for us which we will now have as memories forever. The final, finished photos are gorgeous. Catherine’s editing style is perfect for a picturesque setting. It was so exciting to receive the pictures and watch the slideshow together. Now time to pick our favourites to be printed!
We are so grateful for Catherine for being such a wonderful wedding photographer! Right from the beginning she helped us plan our day and gave us so much useful advice. On the day itself, Catherine was phenomenal. Our wedding had many events for the whole day, yet she worked through it so well. One of the key things we appreciated is that she took care of us in between the events and took us on some beautiful photo shoots within the venue grounds. It was an absolute pleasure to have Catherine as our wedding photographer. During the planning stages, she always replied promptly to queries and made us feel really valued as clients, often going above and beyond with useful tips and advice. On the day, she arrived promptly, and she was professional but never overbearing. Her approach made it easy for us to relax during our couple photoshoots and just enjoy our special day in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside without feeling like we were under pressure to pose or model. She also did an amazing job capturing the overall atmosphere of the day (including little details like our dinner table name cards!) and kept the group photo session of the day running smoothly and to time (not an easy task with our fairly substantial number of guests!). Catherine made sure to follow up with us about our experience after the wedding, and gave us a sneak peek of some photos after just a few days, which was greatly appreciated! We received our full gallery within the timescale promised (about one month after the wedding, which felt very speedy!). Catherine was our photographer in May and she was so warm and friendly, we felt very comfortable straight away. We really appreciated the direction and keeping us on track throughout the day, it took a lot of the stress away!
