A visit to Leeds found our party of 6 having evening dinner at The Restaurant Bar and Grill and overall, this was a very good experience. This was my first time at the restaurant but some of our party had been before and recommended that we returned this particular evening due to their positive experience previously. Located in the old Post Office building the restaurant has a fantastic and prominent location within the city. It is also in easy walking distance of all city centre hotels and the train station. This restaurant can cope with large numbers of customers with its ample outdoor seating in-conjunction with the inside tables both upstairs and down. There is in addition a private dining room for hire should you require. We were seated upstairs near the bar and overlooking the downstairs area. This is a modern and well maintained restaurant designed and fitted out to high standards. From arriving at our table our waiter was very attentive, friendly and had a great sense of humour. There is an excellent wine, cocktail and general drinks menu and this is coupled by an equally excellent food menu. I found it hard to choose as there was so many things that I fancied. A three course dinner was had by most of our party and a wide range of food was sampled. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and collectively we had a fantastic evening at this restaurant. I would certainly revisit The Restaurant Bar and Grill when next in Leeds and can strongly recommend you give it a try. A great place with excellent service and first class staff.

A lovely evening with impeccable service from our waiter Alfie! The food was divine we ordered the festive menu which was three courses and every dish was gorgeous and came out promptly. The duck spring rolls and sauce were delicious,My steak was cooked to perfection and the brownie so gooey. Also the wine was lovely. Definitely somewhere to go as a treat as not cheap but definitely worth the price!

Just a bit more attention to detail needed to get 5 stars Tuesday 25 Oct at 9pm and most places serving food have stopped (except for curry houses) From the outside This place looked deserted. On the entering the inside was amazing Great atmosphere and internal design As it was late and a few beers in we decided just in mains My friend chose the crisply duck with a side of salad and I chose sea bass with a side of cauliflower cheese Both were delicious No room for puds and a train to catch for my friend So we asked for coffee 45 mins later the code free still wasn’t ready - but it came late with an apology and complimentary Nice place - just need coffee served sooner for 5 stars

I was so disappointed with the food here today. It’s usually okay, but today it was as if the chef couldn’t be bothered. I ordered from the vegan menu, and the first pasta I got was cold. I sent it back and then got this embarrassing excuse for a pasta. I couldn’t even eat my lunch so I left hungry for the rest of the afternoon working. Perhaps the chef just doesn’t like doing vegan. Such a shame as it was sunny out and should have been a good working lunch.

Had a lovely meal at the RB&G in Leeds. Chose the set menu which was very tasty and filling. I was looked after as it was my birthday with a complimentary glass of prosecco. Would highly recommend
